Where to Start?
To learn to read the Quran, you first need to recognize Arabic letters. An Elifba (Qaida) book or digital apps are the most suitable tools for this first step.
Learning Stages
1) Letter recognition (isolated form). 2) Initial-medial-final forms. 3) Vowel marks (fatha, kasra, damma). 4) Sukun and shadda. 5) Tanween. 6) Madd letters. 7) Reading simple words. 8) Reading short surahs.
Daily Study Plan
With regular practice of 15-20 minutes every day, basic Quran reading skills can be acquired in 2-3 months. Repetition and listening are the two most important elements.
Digital Tools
Interactive apps like QuranKids accelerate the learning process with audio cards and games. Gamified approaches especially increase motivation for children.
